Setting Up Uply
Step 1: Install Uply
Install Uply from the Shopify App Store. Once installed, open the app from your Shopify admin.
Step 2: Create Your First Upsell Rule
Open the Uply app
Click Create Rule
Choose the trigger products — the products in the cart that will trigger the upsell suggestion
Choose the upsell products — the items you want to suggest
Save your rule
Step 3: Add the Uply Tile to POS
Open Shopify POS
Tap Add Tile
Select App
Find and add Uply
Save
Step 4: Test It Out
Add a trigger product to your POS cart
The Uply tile will show available upsells
Tap to add the upsell to the cart
Tips for Effective Upsells
Keep it relevant: Suggest items that genuinely complement what's in the cart
Don't overdo it: 1-2 upsell suggestions per transaction is the sweet spot
Train your staff: Make sure your team understands the upsell options and can recommend them naturally
Track performance: Monitor which upsells are being accepted to refine your strategy
