You can apply fees to individual products rather than entire collections.
Adding Specific Products to a Rule
Open the Canteen app and create or edit a rule
In the Select Product(s) section, choose individual products
Set the fee amount
Save the rule
Per-Variant Rules
Need different fees for different variants of the same product? (e.g., 330ml bottle vs. 750ml bottle)
In the rule's product selection, you can drill down to select specific variants
Create separate rules for variants with different fee amounts
Mixing Products and Collections
A single rule can include both individual products and collections. This gives you flexibility to cover most of your catalog with a collection rule while adding individual exceptions.
Best Practices
Use automated collections for fee tiers whenever possible — new products matching the collection conditions will automatically get the correct fee
Use individual product/variant rules for exceptions or one-off items
Name your rules descriptively (e.g., "Small Bottle Deposit $0.10", "Large Bottle Deposit $0.25")
